Pakistan scored 161 runs against Bangladesh

The rain ruined the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh saw many halts but Pakistan still managed to score 161 runs at the end of the day with the loss of just two wickets. Babar Azam stays unbeaten on 60 at stumps on the Day 1 of test 2. Azhar Ali was on 36, while Left-arm spinner Taijul Islam was in form taking two wickets to halt the visitors from pulling ahead on the first day itself.

Openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafique shared a 50-run first-wicket partnership and denied the duo a third-century-opening stand. Babar then played with a length delivery off Mehidy Hasan and then posted his 19th Test 50 off 75 balls. Azhar had seemed shaky after he was hit on his helmet by a bouncer of pacer Ebadot Hossain but still continued to accompany Babar in a steady inning.
