Pakistan vs West Indies: Pak in a 2-0 lead

Pakistan outscored West Indies by 120 runs in Multan. This win was led by Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq who hit half-centuries for their side. Further, it was observed that Mohammad Nawaz scored his best figures for Pakistan. It was 275-8 in 50 overs for Pakistan which gave them an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series. It was back in 1991 when Pakistan last defeated West Indies in an ODI series.

As for the league chart, Pakistan now has 20 points in the ODI Super League which is a qualification round for the 2023 World Cup. Azam said that they were 10-15 short because they went on losing back-to-back wickets. He also said that Nawaz played a crucial role in bringing the team back into the game.
