After Australia's visit in 2024 concludes, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has agreed to a trip to New Zealand for a white-ball series against the hosts. Last month, the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) made the offer, stating that the proposed series could consist of three ODIs or five T20Is. According to the reports, negotiations are taking place between the two cricket federations to settle on a schedule for the series.
Since New Zealand’s 2024 calendar has space before its home series against South Africa in February, the series between Pakistan and New Zealand may start there in the second week of January. Men in Green last traveled to New Zealand for a tri-series between the national team, the hosts, and Bangladesh in October of 2014, just before the T20 World Cup. The Babar Azam-led team defeated New Zealand in the tri-series championship match by a margin of five wickets.
