Rain ruined the chances for Perth Scorchers to win against Melbourne Stars as both the teams walked away with one point each after the match was canceled at Launceston. It could have been Perth’s first win of the summer. And posted 158 runs with four wickets in hand before the rain came down hard to ruin their chances and a match that was first delayed, Stars had just played an over to post 10 runs in their chase when it was declared as canceled.
