West Indies’ Kieron Pollard hit six sixes in an over against Sri Lanka, Akila Dananjaya was left stunned on the field when one by one Pollard took his throws out of the ground after taking a hat trick in the previous over. Kieron Pollard later shared he had the idea in mind in the first T20I against Sri Lanka when he hit the ball over the ropes in Antigua. Pollard became the second batsmen in T20 international to hit six sixes in an over after India's Yuvraj Singh.
West Indies needed 70 runs in 90 balls and Pollard changed the game to 34 in 84 in a matter of an over. With the win West Indies are now 1-0 in the lead in the three-match series and the second T20I would take place on the same venue on 6th March.
