Proteas stay strong in their chase on Day Two of decider

South Africa scrap to a solid situation on Day two of the decider test. On day one, Proteas bundled out Indian Cricket team with 223 runs. The third and final test of the final Freedom Trophy Series at Newlands in Cape Town, saw Proteas taking charge with Kagiso Rabada’s four-wicket haul and ending Virat Kohli’s masterclass of defensive batting, with his 79 off 201 balls.

On the second day, Proteas stay fighting at 176 for 7 wickets by tea time while SA is trailing behind by 47 runs. Petersen and van der Dussen as a pair added 55 runs before the mid-day break. The test is turning into a very tense fight as both sides are currently 1-1 in the series. South Africa is pushing for a triumph and denying India a maiden series win in the thrilling Test battle.
