Indian Premier League has almost reached its playoff stage and teams are working hard to boost their chances to qualify for the next stage. Punjab Kings still maintain their hopes for a playoff berth as they beat Kolkata Knight Riders by five wickets in Dubai.

Chasing the target of 166 runs PBKS had three balls to spare in the end as well. The shining star for the night was KL Rahul who hit 67 off 55 balls to boost their chase, while Mayank Agarwal and Shahrukh Khan also supported the captain with their own contribution of 40 and 22 respectively. From the bowling department, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi shared five wickets amongst themselves as they took down KKR’s top batting order to restrict them to 165 in 20 overs.
