R Ashwin needs 5 wickets to become India’s leading Test wicket at home. Ashwin has a chance to reach the landmark in the Rajkot Test against England.

R Ashwin is about to reach a noteworthy achievement in his career as a Test player. The veteran bowler is about to surpass all other Indian bowlers in terms of Test wickets taken at home. The record is held by the illustrious Anil Kumble, who amassed 350 wickets in 63 matches, including 25 five-wicket innings and seven 10-wicket innings. Ashwin needs just five wickets to create Indian history. The 37-year-old spinner has claimed 346 wickets in 57 games, including 26 five-wicket and 6 10-wicket innings.
