Indian batter Robin Uthappa is cheerily renowned and recalled for his counter-attacking batting style in white-ball cricket. The Kannada batsman made his stellar international debut against England at the Nehru Stadium in 2006. After participating in over 50-plus international games and 205 matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Uthappa has finally put down the bat on his incredible white-ball career on Wednesday.
Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan and veteran gloveman Dinesh Karthik saluted Uthappa after the dignitary batter declared his retirement from all formats of the game.
"Two things I always remember. You Walking down to one of the fastest bowler of that time n hitting him for a six and also walking away when I troubled you;) You should be proud of yourself in your career my brother, ur contribution 4 team india n in ipl is immense," stated Irfan online.
