Indian all-rounder Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin led India to a win against England in Test 2 tying the series 1-1 and their performance sees them climb the ICC Test rankings as well. Rohit Sharma reached 14th place and breaks into Top 15 in the list of batsmen leapfrogged 9 places for the position.
Ashwin closed in on 6th placed Stuart Broad in bowlers ranking with his 8 wickets haul in 2nd Test he was awarded with 33 rating points and is just three points behind Broad and is 21 behind second-ranked Neil Wagner. He has a great chance to beat the rest with two more test matches scheduled. Ashwin also stuck his 5th Test century which saw him jump places in batting as well and earned him one place away from the top 5 of the all-rounder's list.
