Royal Challengers Bangalore take out LSG with 18 runs

Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf du Plessis knocked 96 runs in 64 balls along with Josh Hazlewood’s 4/25 efforts helped the side take out a high flying Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday by 18 runs. RCB goes second on the table in the Indian Premier League at DY Patil Sports Academy with a 18 run win in Navi Mumbai.

This is RCB’s fifth win in seven matches and is tied on points with Gujarat Titans with 10 points, RCB went on to bat first and posted 181 runs in their allotted 20 overs. LSG’s efforts to keep their chase on point kept getting derailed as they lost wickets after wickets and RCB managed to keep LSG batters at bay and searching for their fifth win of the season.
