Sanju Samson, currently included in India's T20I squad against England, will miss Kerala's upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh starting on January 23. His absence is due to his commitment to the five-match T20I series, beginning on January 22 in Kolkata and concluding on February 2 in Mumbai. Unless released from the national squad, Samson will also be unavailable for Kerala's final Group C match against Bihar from January 30.
Despite missing the Vijay Hazare Trophy recently, Samson has the opportunity to join Kerala for the knockout phase, with the team currently second in the group standings. His exclusion from the ODI squad against England and the Champions Trophy was influenced partly by his absence from a pre-tournament camp, despite his notable performance against South Africa last year with a century in Paarl.
