Shreyas Iyer takes wicket on his first ball against India A

Shreyas Iyer, a prominent batter for India, had a remarkably eventful day during the second day of the India A vs. India D match in the Duleep Trophy Round 2. Despite being dismissed for a duck earlier in the game, Iyer made headlines when he took a wicket with his very first delivery of the day. In a surprising turn, he was brought in to bowl in the second innings, and his golden arm did not disappoint. Bowling just one delivery, he managed to dismiss the opposing skipper, Mayank Agarwal, who was batting confidently at 56. 

This moment went viral, especially after the BCCI Domestic's official account shared the clip with the caption: "Golden Arm! Shreyas Iyer comes into the attack. Shreyas Iyer strikes first ball. An excellent low catch off his own bowling, and he breaks the 115-run opening stand at the stroke of stumps." This highlighted Iyer’s rare but impactful contribution with the ball.
