Siraj is trying hard to replace Bumrah

When he was called in as Jasprit Bumrah's replacement for the South Africa series, Mohammed Siraj has been trying really hard to make it into the team that flies to Australia where the T20 World Cup commences from October 16. Siraj has stayed afloat as the standout bowler from the Indian roster in the second ODI against South Africa in Ranchi, which the Indian team bagged by seven wickets.

Assisting the Indian attack, Siraj has kept up an extraordinary rapport of line and length and gave up only 38 runs in his 10 overs, which also witnessed him take three wickets. Stunned by his dynamic performance, former India cricketer-turned-commentator Sanjay Manjrekar publicly predicted his supposed participation in the T20 World Cup. Right after South Africa's innings, Manjrekar expressed online that, "Siraj seriously pushing Shami for that Bumrah spot in the squad."
