In the second ODI between South Africa and India at St George's Oval in Port Elizabeth, South Africa emerged victorious with an impressive 8-wicket win over India on Tuesday. After winning the toss, South African skipper Aiden Markram chose to bowl first, and his decision paid off as Protea pacer Nandre Burger dismissed Ruturaj Gaikwad early in the game. Although Tilak Varma could only manage 10 runs, Sai Sudharsan and captain KL Rahul steadied the innings with half-centuries each. Sudharsan contributed 62 runs, showcasing his good form from the previous game, while Rahul scored 56 before falling to Burger.
However, the Indian innings struggled as Sudharsan was dismissed by Lizaad Williams, and Sanju Samson and Rinku Singh followed suit with 12 and 17 runs, respectively. Eventually, India was bundled out for a total of 211 runs in 46.2 overs.
