South Africa have announced their squad for the 2024 Test series

As part of South Africa's trip of Bangladesh in 2024, Cricket South Africa (CSA) has formally unveiled their team for the next two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka will host the first Test on October 21. The Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram will host the second Test on October 29.

Matthew Breetzke, a 25-year-old wicketkeeper-batter who will make his Test debut during this series, is one of the new players in the South African squad. Although Breetzke has previously played eight T20 Internationals for South Africa, this will be his maiden Test match. In his early career, his participation is noteworthy, and he is anticipated to be a key component in bolstering South Africa's batting order. The best players in South Africa will be the focus of attention, especially speed maestro Kagiso Rabada, who will be vital on grounds that may provide early seam movement.
