Temba Bavuma fights alone and manages to get South Africa to 188-7 by lunch time on Day3 of 2nd Test while South Africa is still running behind by 84 runs and Pakistan had set the target of 272 in the first inning before the entire team was bowled up but thanks to Faheem Ashraf’s 78 unbeaten and Babar Azam’ 77 Pakistan put up a respectable score. Bavuma and Wiaan Mulder stuck together to post a half century in 1-1/2 hours against grueling Pakistan bowlers. Mulder was later run out and George Linde was clean bowled by Hasan Ali (3-46) with a slow delivery.
Quinton de Kock on the other hand could not return to form and added just 5 runs after adding 24 in the previous match and was bowled early by Shaheen Afridi. Pakistan is leading the two test match series after South Africa by 1-0.
