The South African pacer Dale Steyn shared on Tuesday that he is officially retiring from cricket from all formats. The Legendary player has represented the nation in about 93 Tests, 125 ODIs, and 47 T20Is and even made 98 outings in Indian Premier League as well. The Pacer had previously retired from Test format in 2019 and now follows that up with other formats as well. He was last seen in action in February 2020 in South Africa and Australia limited over series.
He is South Africa's all-time highest wicket-taker in the longest format of the game taking 439 wickets in Tests. In ODI format he has taken 196 wickets while in T20Is he took 64 wickets. In the Indian Premier League as well he put up a good scoreline playing for Deccan Chargers, SunRisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bangalore in his career taking 97 wickets while posting an economy of 6.93.
