Sri Lanka scheduled two T20 matches with Oman before the World Cup

Sri Lanka’s T20 squad would take on Oman for two matches in October before they travel to UAE for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. The Oman T20 two-match series is scheduled for 07th and 09th October with the aim to provide a much-needed practice to the Sri Lanka team. They would also play the two ICC-organized World Cup warm-up games a few days later before they kickstart their World Cup campaign which would start from 17th October and if things stay on track it would go on till 14th November 2021.

After the Oman matches, Sri Lanka would take on Namibia on 18th in Abu Dhabi at Sheika Zayed Cricket Stadium, and later take on Ireland as well on 20th. The Netherlands match is two days after at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
