Delhi Capitals joined CSK and RCB at the top of the table with eight points after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai. The Team fought it out in the 14th edition of IPL’s first Super Over only for Delhi Capital to win in the end. Kane Williamson did Hyderabad proud with his 66 off 51 balls helped the team to equal the score at 159-7.
Later he joined Hyderabad's Australian skipper David Warner for the Super Over and faced Axar Patel to post just 7 runs in the over. Which was chased down by Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan who was facing leg-spinner Rashid Khan on the other side. Hyderabad was handed their fourth loss of the season and is second from bottom currently.
