Half centuries from Rahul Tripathi and Aiden Markram helped Sunrisers Hyderabad to secure their third successive victory on Friday. But skipper Kane Williamson was of the opinion that there is scope for improvement. Hyderabad scored 176/3 against Kolkata Knight Riders in Mumbai during this season’s Indian Premier League. The partnership of 94 between Tripathi (71) and Markram (68 not out) was spectacular with 7 wickets and thirteen balls to spare.
Pat Cummins took an early wicket but ended with 1-40. His performance has been pretty disappointing with his bowling numbers 3-140 from three matches during this IPL season. Tripathi helped SH dominate the match against KKR. However, he fell to Andre Russell after his 37-ball that included four fours and six sixes but Markram kept up the charge. The chase came to an end as Markram hit 1 four and 2 sixes to give Sunrisers their successive third win!
