Super Giants pulls off a win past Delhi Capitals

Lucknow Super Giants took the reins back late in the match against Pant’s team in the Indian Premier League. Lucknow outfits leapfrogged into the second place on the table with the six-run against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. Captain K.L. Rahul’s efforts and Mohsin Khan’s spectacular four-wicket haul handed the team the opportunity to add points to their tally.

Quinton de Kock first got Super Giants off to a brisk start but Shardul Thakur proved to be an impediment and sent him back within the PowerPlay. Deepak Hooda took charge later with his 52-run knock alongside Rahul and stood strong against Capitals bowlers who posted an expensive PowerPlay session by giving away 57 runs, their worst yet. Marcus Stoinis and Krunal Pandya then took the team in the final over to 195 runs and DC in their counter-attack failed to be the imposing side.
