Chennai Super Kings proved they are still in the game for the title by restricting a strong looking Rajasthan Royals who were 87 for two in 11 overs, chasing a target of 189 in front of them, and in the next four overs they saw their batting line up completely collapse to 97-7 to CSK Bowlers. A 45 run win in Mumbai would definitely boost their morale who just recently took down Punjab Kings as well.
Jos Buttler kept Royals’ chase strong at the start with 49 runs in 35 balls but he was not ready to face Ravindra Jadeja who clinched his wicket and five balls later took Shivam Dube (17, 20 balls) as well. While Moeen Ali (3-7) also wreaked havoc on Royals taking down David Miller (2), Riyan Parag (3), and Chris Morris (0) one by one. The only one that survived the Royal Crash was Jaydev Unadkat (24) and Rahul Tewatia (20) who dragged the team to 143-9.
