T20 World Cup: Namibia take down Scotland

Namibia found a spectacular four-wicket win over Scotland in the Super 12 clash of the Twenty20 World Cup on Wednesday. Ruben Trumpelmann led the lethal bowling show, as Namibia’s winning streak was taken to three matches after they were flying high after qualifying ahead from the last stage with flying colors. Chasing a target of 110 runs JJ Smit hit an unbeaten 32 runs to help the team to a win and had five balls to spare in Abu Dhabi.

David Wiese and Smit together had a partnership of 35 while Scotland was handed their second loss of the group stage. The left-arm pacer Trumpelmann returned with great numbers with 3-17 and Scotland has restricted Scotland to 109-8
