Keshav Maharaj and David Miller would be taking the place of Bavuma in ODI and T20I respectively. The tour of England is set to start by next month but Cricket South Africa has already faced their first blow on Wednesday as Bavuma suffers an elbow injury and would need to undergo recuperation for eight weeks after getting injured during the Twenty20 series in India.
The Proteas would take on England for three world championship Tests, three one-day internationals, and three T20 internationals after which they have scheduled two T20 internationals against Ireland as well. Keshav Maharaj would be taking over as the lead for the one-day team and David Miller would be guiding the T20 side. South Africa adds Simon Harmer to the Test squad replacing Maharaj who would be playing alongside Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, and left-armer Marco Jansen.
