The PCB has confirmed plans to stage a PSL fixture in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

The decision to stage Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches at Muzaffarabad Cricket Stadium was finalized during a special roadshow at London’s iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground. This announcement marks a pivotal step for cricket’s expansion across Pakistan and a significant development for Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It grants local fans access to top-tier sport while promoting regional tourism.

Chairman Naqvi guaranteed that the stadium will receive substantial upgrades to satisfy international standards, creating a world-class venue. Additionally, he stated the area would feature five-star hotels tailored to meet international cricketers’ specific requirements. Naqvi described this as a truly proud moment, bringing elite cricket to this scenic region with state-of-the-art facilities and luxury accommodations ensured for players.
