Tigers dominate England in their victory

Bangladesh batters have hinted at the arrival of a new Bangladesh in the T20I format, after leading the Tigers to a convincing six-wicket victory against world champions England in the first T20I of the bilateral series between the two teams. Bangladesh made a significant effort with the ball to get back into the game after being put under pressure.

Yesterday at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, England managed to score just 156 for six but Bangladesh’s chase game was top notch which led them to a noteworthy win for the Tigers. Najmul Hossain Shanto played a big role in scoring his third T20I fifty as the Tigers defeated England by a margin of six wickets. The 24-year-old batsman appeared to be in charge throughout his 30-ball 51 against England, which helped set the tone for Bangladesh's first T20I victory.
