Watson criticizes BBL'S rule changes

Shane Watson, a former Australia all-rounder has taken a swing at his country’s cricket board for introducing new rules in the upcoming Big Bash League. He lashed out at the authorities calling them “misguided attempts” and "gimmicks" to reinvigorate the T20 event.

The country’s cricket board has introduced three new rules. These three new rules include X-Factor Player, Power Surge, and the Bash Boost. These rules are part of the 10th edition of the BBL which is set to start on 10th December.

Shane Watson wrote in his blog post on his T20 Website how he read that shocking news of BBL introducing some new gimmicks. These include Bash Boost, Power Surge, and the X-Factor Player in a misguided attempt to revitalize the tournament.  His anger was visible in his post.
