West Indies registers a 2-0 clean sweep against Bangladesh

West Indies concluded the 2nd Test match against Bangladesh early by Day 4 by winning the second back-to-back Test match against the side by 10 wickets at Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium. Kyle Mayers earned the title of Player of the Match as well as the series. On Day 4 West Indies needed just an hour to register their 2-0 sweep against Bangladesh and maintain their unbeaten status this year.

The rain-affected match saw West Indies dominate the second session entirely WI bowled out Bangladesh’s cricket team for 186 runs setting up a target of just 13 runs on Day four after they scored 408 runs in the first session and restricted the hosts to 234 runs. Openers Kraigg Brathwaite and John Campbell handed the team a quick victory which was followed up by the seven-wicket win in Antigua in Test 1.
