The five-time winners, Mumbai Indians are facing consecutive losses this season in the Indian Premier League. This has been the worst start to their season matches. They were defeated by Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs. In this history of IPL matches, Mumbai becomes the 7th team to lose six successive games. They have now joined the clan of Delhi Daredevils, Pune Warriors, Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Deccan Chargers have also lost 6 matches in a row.

Rohit Sharma, captain of Mumbai Indians said that he is fully responsible for the losses. After facing successive defeats, he went on to say that if he knew what was going wrong, he would correct it. But it’s not coming off. He also said he takes full responsibility for not putting the team in a situation that they have been expecting.
