WTC final heads to reserve day in search of a winner

At the end of Day five of the WTC final match in Southampton India enjoyed a lead of 32 runs over New Zealand but heading to the second Inning they have already lost Gill and Rohit Sharma. Two days were wasted completely because of heavy rains and now both the teams head towards the final day of the match with India on 64 for two.

India planned to take advantage of the opening session with Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara on the crease but lost both the wickets to Kyle Jamieson while Tim Southee from New Zealand got the Indian Openers wickets. By Lunchtime New Zealand has been successful in curtailing India to 130 runs at the loss of five wickets. India maintains a lead of just 98 runs and relies heavily on Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja to extend the lead.
