Yet another blow out for India as they put up 191 at Oval

Indian batsmen have a tough time yet again facing England’s bowlers on the other side in the fourth Test at The Oval. India’s performance though was far better than the last time as they put up a score of 191 before they were bowled out. Shardul Thakur put up the fastest Test fifty along with Virat Kohli’s 50 India ended the day with a decent lead. Later Umesh Yadav eliminated Joe Root as well before Jasprit Bumrah had cliched two important wickets to force England to end Day 1 at 53 for 3.

Thakur’s efforts turned things around for India, hitting half-century in 31 balls which included six fours and three sixes. Bumrah then removed Rory Burns and Haseeb Hameed in one over and Root also eventually fell at 21 leaving Craig Overton with Malan at the end of the day. The series is currently leveled 1-1.
