Zaheer Khan on Babar Azam’s captaincy

Former Indian pacer Zaheer Khan has criticised Pakistan captain Babar Azam for making mistakes in his team's T20 World Cup semi-final loss to Australia. Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis led Australia to their second-ever T20 World Cup final, defeating the Men in Green by five wickets. Babar was not savvy enough in rotating his bowlers throughout the run chase, according to Zaheer, who has played 17 T20Is for India.

At the 13-over point, Babar had two overs each of Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah, while Haris had three overs left. After former Indian batsman Ajay Jadeja claimed that Babar went with Shaheen to take a wicket because Wade and Stoinis were the last known partnership, Zaheer responded. It's worth noting that Hasan Ali bowled the 18th over, which yielded 15 runs. His four-over, wicketless spell yielded 44 runs.
