Many players feel Qiyana’s Prestige skin lacks uniqueness compared to her classmates. After the skins were unveiled on League’s official X account, a Reddit thread emerged, with users voicing frustration over Riot’s new approach. “I don’t know what they’re doing with this new Prestige skin method, but they need to revert it,” the thread creator wrote.

Since Riot scrapped regular versions of skins that have Prestige variants, Qiyana’s only Battle Academia skin is Prestige, making it feel less special. Fans also praised the high-fashion direction Riot previously took with Prestige skins but argue that without a base skin to compare them to, their impact has diminished.
