Top Esports are proving themselves as the underdogs in the 2022 LPL Spring Split by finding a late surge in the season to maintain a three-match winning streak. In Week six of the League of Legend tournament, Top Esports took down FunPlus Phoenix in the three-match series. Both the teams before the match were tied at 4-4 at the middle of the table but FPX’s consistency took a step back as the new dark horse of LPL built their own record.
TES top laner Wayward started out strong getting two solo kills and even helped the team with a 2,200 gold advantage at the end TES blew past FPX to win the first match. FPX did make a comeback in the next game to win and force a third match between the two which was once again dominated by TES as they stole their fifth win of the season.
