Insufficient evidence saves Hamilton from Redbull's protest

On 18th July, in the Silverstone circuit we saw a fierce battle for the lead between two speedsters, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Till the first few turns at the Silverstone circuit; the competition was neck to neck. But things went haywire at the Copse turn where Hamilton’s Mercedes hit the RedBull’s rear wheel, sending Verstappen off the track. After the dreadful crash of the Dutchman, the RedBull Racing Team were not satisfied with just a 10 second time penalty for Hamilton.

On 29th July, at the hearing with FIA, RedBull did provide evidence against Hamilton but it wasn’t anything significant. That left Hamilton with no penalties for the upcoming Hungarian Grand Prix. It will be a tough battle yet again this Sunday where these two fierce rivals meet back on the track. Verstappen would need this win to increase the gap between him and the Mercedes’ star driver, Lewis Hamilton.
