Norris commits to McLaren through 2030

Lando Norris and McLaren will continue their partnership until at least the end of 2030 after the reigning world champion signed a new multi‑year contract with the Woking team. The deal includes an option for further extension, reinforcing a relationship that began with Norris’s promotion to a race seat in 2019. By the end of the new agreement, he will have spent 12 consecutive seasons with McLaren, joining the ranks of long‑term driver‑team unions such as Verstappen‑Red Bull and Leclerc‑Ferrari.

As a tribute to his achievements, McLaren will gift Norris the MCL39, the car with which he claimed the 2025 world title. Norris described McLaren as his home and expressed excitement for the future, noting the team’s shared ambition to keep winning. Already McLaren’s most experienced driver with 163 starts, Norris has earned 13 victories, 18 poles and 48 podiums, and now targets another title fight against Kimi Antonelli in 2026.
