Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero will be sidelined for three months after the player was taken to a hospital for assessment after suffering from breathing problems on Saturday. The treatment would go on for the next three months and thereafter his progress would be assessed to decide on the recovery time. In the last draw match with Alaves, Barcelona drew up 1-1 at Home and had to be replaced with Philippe Coutinho before halftime.
The 33-year-old moved from Manchester City to Barca last European summer and has played five competitive matches, scoring just one goal. The player had already started late with Barcelona this season as an offseason injury had forced the team to look at a replacement.
