A late heartbreak for relegation-threatened Stuttgart

Bottom Dweller Stuttgart was nearly asserting its first association win since December against Bochum but it ended up surrendering to a late penalty in the third moment of injury time to draw 1-1 with Bochum. Eduard Löwen took advantage of Mavropanos Konstantinos' unfortunate test on Sebastian Polter by scoring the leveler from the spot and extending Stuttgart's grim eight games run without a triumph.

Stuttgart stays second from the base in the Bundesliga table in the red zone with just 11 rounds remaining. Löwen's late adjuster for elevated Bochum, could not end the Bayern Munich curse where Bochum became the eighth team to fail to post a win after taking down the Bundesliga champions.
