A late penalty by Mbappe rescues PSG’s win against Angers

Despite having the full force of the squad and plenty of attacking players on their side, Paris Saint-Germain was forced to rely on a late penalty by Kylian Mbappe to secure three points against Angers in the Ligue 1 match. PSG is getting into a habit of producing late winners this season, French leaders came from behind to ensure a 2-1 win against Angers.

PSG’s perfect run in eight matches ended abruptly before the International break at the hands of Rennes but they seem to be back to winning ways with the recent win. Though there was a cause of concern when the French giants could not manage a shot on target in the first half. Danilo Pereira scored the first goal for PSG at 69 minutes canceling Angelo Fulgini’s first-half opener, later Mbappe ended the match strongly in injury time.
