AC Milan: Zlatan decides to stay

The newspaper reveals the former Sweden international has been convinced to remain at San Siro and continue working for coach Stefano Pioli.

The 38-year-old has had a massive impact on the squad since his arrival in January and has helped the Rossoneri to sixth in Serie A this season.

The report claims Zlatan and Milan will sit down to discuss the contract in the next days, but there’s no date yet.

La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that his salary should start at €4m a year, but could increase due to several bonuses related to the amount of goals scored, matches played, the club’s performance in the Europa League and in case of qualification for the Champions League 2021-22.

Zlatan has contributed nine goals and five assists in his 17 Serie A games since he returned in January.
