Blackburn Rovers striker Adam Armstrong is on the radar of Southampton, West Ham United, and Newcastle United. The Saints are leading the race for a striker and they could beat West Ham United and Newcastle United this summer. Armstrong has had his best-ever campaign with 28 goals in 40 appearances for Rovers in the Championship.
The 24-year-old did well this season but the club still stands 15th on the table and is not on the lookout for new opportunities when the transfer window reopens. Armstrong has 13 more months left on his contract and the club is demanding £20 million for him but could negotiate down to £16m. The player even scored three hat-tricks in the season and would be an asset to the Saints.
