Relegation-threatened Fulham saw their hopes to stay alive in Premier League next season a big blow with Wolves walking away with a 1-0 win at Craven Cottage with Adama Traore's stoppage-time goal. The player scored his first goal since December 2019 with brilliant skills displayed inside the area to push past Fulham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola and score for Wolves. Traore’s extra-time goal gave Wolves their first victory since mid-February.
Fulham boss Scott Parker though despite the loss still hopes that the team would climb out of the relegation zone. Wolves could have gotten a lead early as well but Willian Jose’s header was ruled out by VAR during the first-half injury time. Fulham has reported four back-to-back losses after their shocking win against defending champions Liverpool on 7th March Wolves are 12th on the Premier League table.
