After 1-1 draw with Palace, Leicester ascends to second place

After a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace, Leicester City ascended to second place in the Premier League. The credit goes to Harvey Barnes who counterbalanced a Wilfried Zaha goal at Selhurst Park on Monday.

Leicester will remain in second place overnight with Everton. The level on points with them. Moreover, Leicester is not playing later on Monday after their home match against Manchester City. As the match was deferred due to more positive COVID-19 cases at City.

Leicester dominated the majority of the game. But they were not able to take their chances.  Moreover, they missed a first-half penalty. Not only this,  Jamie Vardy, striker came on as a second-half substitute.

Barnes told Amazon Prime that they were disappointed not to get three points. Moreover, they weren’t as clinical as we have been.
