After Barcelona’s disappointing run Koeman gets sacked

In the recent La Liga match, Barcelona went down by 1-0 against the newly-promoted side Rayo Vallecano last night, the loss turned out to be the last straw for Koeman who was sacked as Barcelona’s coach after a round of poor performance from the Spanish Giants as losses pile up. In the post-Messi era for the team, Koeman succumbed to pressure in just three months and their struggle along with financial strain continues.

After Wednesday’s Spanish league match Barcelona announced Koeman’s departure from the team as the team stands in ninth place with 15 points from 10 matches. The team is maintaining a five-game winless run in away matches which is the worst record by the Catalan giants in two decades.
