Ajax secured their 34th Eredivisie title with a 4-1 win over De Graafschap on Wednesday night. Goals from Lasse Schone, Nicolas Tagliafico and a double from Dusan Tadic ensured that all three points went to the side from Amsterdam.
Erik ten Hag's side finish three points ahead of PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie as they completed a domestic double after winning the KNVB Cup at the weekend. Matthijs de Ligt, Frenkie de Jong and Donny van de Beek all played at the Stadion De Vijverberg in what could be a final Ajax appearance for all three players. The club and several players have dedicated the title triumph to Abdelhak Nouri, the Ajax youngster who sustained brain damage after suffering a heart attack whilst playing in 2017.
