An informal transfer bid sent to Man United

Manchester United has received an informal transfer offer from AC Milan, a Serie A club for the 22-year-old Portuguese defender Diogo Dalot. This season, Dalot has spent on loan at the San Siro and established himself on the side of Stefano Pioli. This can cause Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make changes to the plans of his squad.

In this season, Dalot appeared 24 times for Milan and that is more than any season since his move from Porto to United. Dalot was out of favor when Jose Mourinho was taken over by Solskjaer and due to this Dalot found that there were lesser opportunities under Solskjaer and so he moved to AC Milan on loan. His performance was very impressive in Milan and the talks for his permanent move begin. Though lower than the valuation by United, Milan has made an offer of £12million approximately to Dalot.
