Fulham's Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa is being heavily linked to Premier League side Aston Villa, as the transfer talks intensify the midfielder is also interested in making the move a reality. The rumors were fired up even more when the Cameroon international was not part of the starting XI for Fulham in the opening match with Middlesbrough recently.
Anguissa’s future now remains uncertain as Fulham left him out of the squad and two Premier League clubs are chasing the player. Arsenal has also joined Aston Villa in the race for the £25m-rated midfielder, but Villa’s interest is quite strong. Villa is keen on adding a midfielder before the season starts and has even been linked with Lens midfielder Cheick Doucoure and James Ward-Prowse. Anguissa was ranked as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League last season despite Fulham’s relegation.
