Marseille visited and defeated Angers 0-3 early on Friday night, and provisionally rose to the isolated leadership of Ligue 1.
A match that was preceded by an episode, to say the least, ridiculous, but that ended up leading to a momentary evacuation of the Stade Raymond-Kopa, in Angers, where the opening match of the ninth round of Ligue 1 was played.
As reported by the French television station RMC Sport, at the base of the incident was... the fumes resulting from the fryers used in the bars of the enclosure, which activated a siren, about an hour and a half away from the initial whistle.
"Due to a technical incident at our facilities, we are asking you to evacuate them," could be heard over the stadium's loudspeakers. An episode that lasted just a few minutes, so that when the problem was resolved, not all the fans had left the venue.
