Ansu Fati targeting April return

Ansu Fati wants to be back in action for Ronald Koeman's Barca in April. 'La Vanguardia' reports that that is the time frame the Barcelona footballer has in mind after his meniscus operation which has seen him ruled out since 7th November 2020.

That was the day he had to go off the field in a La Liga match at home to Betis. Barcelona had the option of not giving him the operation so that he would be back earlier, but surgery was decided on so that his explosiveness and pace were not affected in the long term.

The newspaper reports that a major step the player has made is leaving the swimming pool. He was using the pool so that his joints were less painful and so that he could recover quicker. That area had got inflammed, but he is no longer using the pool now.
